Heart Attack, Poisoning & Stroke - First Aid Essentials 5 of 6

This essential module provides the knowledge to recognize the early warning signs of three of the most time-critical medical emergencies. The course clearly outlines the differing signs of a Heart Attackin both men and women and the necessary immediate steps to stabilize the casualty. Participants will learn how to identify the signs of a Stroke using the critical F.A.S.T. acronym and understand the importance of immediate professional medical help. Finally, the course covers the different routes of exposure for Poisoning (ingestion, inhalation, absorption) and the correct emergency management procedures for each scenario.
